President Donald Trump addressed the Knesset, the Israeli parliament, on Monday before traveling to Egypt for a peace summit.

I don't know if I'm overly suspicious or what but this peace agreement doesn't smell right. I hope I'm wrong.

I'm not sure how many of these "US brokered" hostage exchange peace deals we've witnessed over the years, decades, but for me it's got to be in the double digits by now. The faces of the politicians change, but it's the same speeches, the same words, the same pandering for prizes and power and cheers, the same grandiose declarations a new age.
But, that new age never comes, the hate never changes, the underlaying causes of the conflict are never fixed, and the peace never lasts -- the bombs and bullets usually resume before the ink on the deal is even dry.
