Don Jr's Ex Gets The Final Shaft
Kimberly Guilfoyle, the embattled U.S. ambassador to Greece, said Tuesday that serving in the role “has been the honor of a lifetime” after the White House announced she had been asked to resign.

“Kimberly Guilfoyle was not a member of my family. I guess she dated my son a long time ago. I didn’t like what I read.” -- Trump

Guilfoyle dated Donald Trump Jr for SIX years.  They got engaged in 2022.

Down The Dollar Goes. Ouch.
The U.S. dollar slid back toward 450 colones last week, reversing a brief rally and once again shrinking the purchasing power of anyone in Costa Rica who earns, saves or receives income in dollars. On Monex, the wholesale foreign exchange market run by the Central Bank of Costa Rica (BCCR), the dollar closed Friday at ₡452.92. That was down ₡5.70 from ₡458.62 a week earlier, according to central bank data.

NOTE: My friend owns a small retail business and the national bank stopped taking US Dollars almost a year ago. Half her business is in US dollars. She found a nearby large retailer who will exchange her dollars for colones.

Odd News

Time To Deflate Photo

NASA: While observing the universe, NASA Hubble caught a galaxy cluster smiling for the camera. The smile lines are arcs caused by an effect known as gravitational lensing, where massive structures warp spacetime with their powerful gravitational forces and act as a cosmic lens. I'm glad someone is happy.

Peace.
