Wisteria is primarily a climbing, woody vine, though it can be trained to grow as a tree-like form.
It is amazing what a human can do when they put their mind to it.

Peace.

    1. Although you are probably right about the jacarandas, I have read elsewhere that what Lisa says about training them into trees is true. Our local wisteria are blooming like crazy here in western Virginia. Some vines have fully covered some trees making them look like wisteria trees. Check out this link to learn how to train wisteria vine into a psuedo wisteria tree: https://rootingforblooms.com/how-to-grow-and-train-a-young-wisteria-plant-into-a-tree/

  3. 🤩 I'm so happy to see you on a vacation day!
🤬 Speaking of measles: I'm amazed at what Bobby Brainworm did about measles this weekend! What I was most angered and nauseated at was Kennedy posting photos of himself with the families of dead and dying and still-unvaccinated children. He then claimed to be so grateful "for the bonds he has made with this community." I did not see him identifying "this community" as the Mennonnite community. They are more than happy to bond with this death merchant because he feeds the belief that vaccines are wrong, but all manner of quack nostrums, and prayer, will save their children.
This horrific excuse for a human being attended a funeral for the daughter of one of these unvaccinated families, but followed up by announcing he is working with Texas Governor Abbott to get more vaccines into the system! Well, which is it? Vaccinate or don't vaccinate? The answer came moments later when Kennedy celebrated two quacks who push junk on people who need science. "I visited with these two extraordinary healers, Dr. Richard Bartlett and Dr. Ben Edwards who have treated and healed some 300 measles-stricken Mennonite children using aerosolized budesonide and clarithromycin." These steroids and antibiotics can only treat some secondary ailments, not THE MEASLES! And, Kennedy is still pushing cod-liver oil, which now comes in lemon flavor. So important for dying children to at least get flavoring in their bullshit!! 💩💩

    1. Thank you once again, Cleora!
      But wait... there's more!
So, RFK Jr talks about using codliver oil and vitamin A to treat measles. But the study/case he refers to, where vitamin A was used to treat kids with measles, doesn't say what Bobby Brainworm thinks it does.
For starters, it didn't happen in the US. It happened in a 3rd World country, one where malnutrition is prevalent and the kids involved were all suffering from Vitamin A deficiency.
That would be bad enough but... measles drains the body of vitamin A, or in the case of these kids, what little vitamin A these kids had, the measles were draining that too.
Vitamin A deficiency leads to some nasty effects. And THOSE were the complications the measles kids were showing.
So, when that vitamin A was given to the kids, it relieved the symptoms of vitamin A deficiency. It didn't do anything for the measles, the kids were just able to get well on their own.
Another thing is vitamin A is VERY easy to overdose on and high levels of vitamin A is lethal.
But, rather than tell you about it, I brought this:

Did hypervitaminosis A have a role in Mawson's ill-fated Antarctic exploration?

Douglas Mawson is a national hero of Australia, having led the Australasian Antarctic expedition of 1911, and survived. His three-man sledging team was beset by a series of catastrophes. First, expert skier Belgrave Ninnis died after he fell into a deep crevasse taking with him half the dogs and a sledge of essential food and supplies. The remaining two explorers immediately turned back to base which was 315 miles away. With their rations diminished they resorted to eating their remaining six dogs over 23 days. Xavier Mertz became progressively ill with diarrhea, delirium, vocal outbursts in rages, and finally several seizures. He died after another seizure. Mawson, alone with negligible food and no dogs for transportation, through his own sheer grit made it back to base camp a month later and was saved. His journal records medical complications with skin desquamation, alopecia, and muscle pain. It has been proposed that these symptoms in both Mertz and Mawson were the manifestations of hypervitaminosis A. They likely consumed greater than a 1,200,000 IU of vitamin A each day from the dog liver they decided was essential to eat to survive. Mertz, a vegetarian, possibly consumed more of the liver than muscle meat, and consequently suffered the more severe encephalopathy and seizures associated with acute vitamin A poisoning.

Keywords: Antarctica; Hypervitaminosis; Liver < Organ/tissue specific < complications of poisoning; Mawson; Vitamin A.
