DeleteThe bill to stop helicopter round-ups of wild horses is a good thing and I support it fully; however, it won't stop the round-up. There are several other techniques they can use including things like ATVs and even their own enslaved horses. Also, they will totally ignore and break the law because apparently everyone in the executive branch believes they have full immunity.
ReplyDeleteWe lived near three wild horse herd management areas in Northern California for 10 years and safari-ed out to watch them often. They are magnificent and manage to thrive regardless of the difficulties put before them by cattle ranchers, the BLM and the rest of the government. I worry this time, due to the ugly effort to steal our national heritage of protected wildernesses in order to provide cheap land to bad people, the poor Mustangs will not prevail.
Maybe they are slaughtering the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse or saddling them?
