President Donald Trump reacted to the Supreme Court striking down his executive order on birthright citizenship Tuesday, calling it “too bad for our Country” and demanding that Congress take action “TODAY” to pass legislation to accomplish what he wanted.
Trump’s executive order was issued on the first day of his second term and purported to end birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants or those who were in the country temporarily. In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court held that the executive order violated the Fourteenth Amendment’s language, which did grant citizenship to those born in the United States. The text of the amendment is as follows:
Can everyone just step back and realize how insane it is that the US Supreme Court had to rule on the constitutionality of the US CONSTITUTION and the vote to uphold the Constitution wasn't unanimous!!! - Covie

Newly released records show Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Joint Chiefs Chairman Dan Caine continued to use Signal group chats configured to automatically delete messages, even after President Donald Trump publicly suggested that officials stop using the encrypted messaging app.
