Musk blames ‘massive cyberattack’ for X outage

Elon Musk said his social media platform X was targeted in a “massive cyberattack” on Monday, prompting outages for thousands of users.
“There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against X,” Musk wrote on the platform Monday afternoon. “We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved. Tracing…”

"Massive cyberattack" is quite the stretch but Musk has made a massive amount of enemies, including in his own companies, much more massive than this minor cyberattack.

Rep. Jamie Raskin: "Really, if we were censuring anyone, it should've been Donald Trump, who I don't think had been back to our chamber since he incited a violence insurrection against us. And then he used his pulpit in order to call a sitting member of the Senate 'Pocahontas.'"

Americans are sorry.

Flying back to Canada from Europe, I find myself seated next to a gentleman with an army bag. I always greet soldiers. So, I introduce myself, ask where he’s from, what he does.

He’s with the U.S. Air Force. He doesn’t share much—perhaps mindful of what could be misconstrued.

I thank him for his service.

He asks my name and where I’m from.

“Canada,” I say, proudly.

He looks down for a moment, then says softly, “I’m sorry.”

“Thank you for that,” I reply. “We’ll handle it just fine.”

This wasn’t just any American. Yet, here he was, expressing regret—an unspoken apology for what his Commander-in-Chief is doing. - Dimitris Soudas
