WASHINGTON, Aug 6 (Reuters) - Republican U.S. Senator Rand Paul said on Thursday he would ask the Justice Department to prosecute Dr. Anthony Fauci for refusing to answer questions about ​the COVID-19 pandemic after a Senate committee voted to hold the former top infectious disease official in contempt of Congress.

It is a sad day indeed when leaders use their authority in ways that cause harm, feed ego, or damage individuals who have spent their lives in service to others.
