I was standing on a fair sized rock overlooking a lake one time when suddenly, without warning, it broke in half and I'm not that dang heavy. Fortunately, it was only about one foot to the beach below. I didn't even fall down. This was like 30 years ago and I still remember it vividly. Now, every time I see someone standing out on a rock like that girl, it makes my stomach churn. Rocks are NOT permanent and you never know when one is destined to go.
