My wife and I are retired and in our 70's. We love Medicare; however, the healthcare meme has the numbers wrong. Our combined healthcare premiums for Medicare A and B, Plan-F and for our Drug Card total $14,400 per year. Since we are living largely on Social Security, that is nearly half of our income. Good thing we no longer have any debts. I just hope the truck and tractor keep running for another 20 years. So far, each time we get the COLA increase in our Social Security, it's just about enough to cover the annual increase in our premiums. Whoo Hoo!
