I made an immediate connection with one of my favorite films...John Frankenheimer's "The Train" from 1964. It is based on the truth of French patriots trying desperately to keep dozens of art masterpieces from being stolen by Germany as it was retreating from France at the end of the war. It's almost as if the term "taut thriller" had been invented for this film. If you love WWII films or trains or the acting prowess of Burt Lancaster/Paul Scofield/Jeanne Moreau, you must see this film!!
