Former Trump White House attorney Ty Cobb said Thursday that Judge Aileen Cannon is a “partisan, petty prima donna.”

When talking about a Friday hearing on former President Trump challenging special counsel Jack Smith’s appointment in the Mar-a-Lago documents case, Cobb said on CNN’s “OutFront” with anchor Erin Burnett that “the law requires that” Cannon “validate” Smith’s “appointment and not disqualify him.”

Count former President Trump among those who are backing Louisiana’s controversial and first-in-the-nation law that will mandate classrooms from elementary school through college prominently display the Ten Commandments.

In their first Second Amendment case since they expanded gun rights in 2022, the justices ruled 8-1 in favor of a 1994 ban on firearms for people under restraining orders to stay away from their spouses or partners.
