Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort will await his trial for foreign lobbying charges from jail.
Two weeks after Robert Mueller's prosecutors dropped new accusations of witness tampering on him, US District Judge Amy Berman Jackson Friday revoked Manafort's bail, which allowed him out on house arrest.

Appearing on MSNBC an employee at one of the internment centers for immigrant children explained that he quit his job on Wednesday because of what he saw occurring at the Texas facility where he was employed.
Davidson, 32, described working at the facility as a youth care worker at the shelter and claimed things took a turn for the worse when the Trump administration recently started forcibly separating children from their parents.

I'm So Old I Remember When A Politician Even Talked About Fooling With Social Security They Were Voted Out Of Office
With the inevitability of the president’s early morning tweets, conservatives are spinning the 2018 Social Security Trustees report as a death knell for the program. Unless, that is, Congress and the president have the “courage” to “reform” this “entitlement.” By “reform,” fiscal hawks really mean raising the Social Security retirement age to 69 or 70, cutting benefits, and reducing retirees’ cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs).
Here’s what the Trustees actually reported: If Congress takes no action whatsoever, the Social Security trust fund will become depleted in 2034, at which time the system could still pay 79 percent of benefits.

Trump Falsely Claims Democrats Caged Children
President Donald Trump blamed Democrats for the separation of families at the US border Friday, a response he's repeatedly made to criticism his administration has faced since it adopted a policy that results in far more children being separated from their parents.
