The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said it apprehended a suspect Thursday accused of sparking the Kenneth Fire.

LAPD Senior Lead Officer Charles Dinse said the fire began Thursday at around 3 p.m. in the West Hills neighborhood. It is being investigated as a crime.
