Former President Donald Trump revealed to Fox News Host Lawrence Jones that it was “probably unlikely” that Ron DeSantis would become his Vice President or serve in his cabinet.

The State of Florida went from great politicians such as: Sen. Bill Nelson (now heads NASA).

Sen. Bob Graham (and former governor), Sen. Lawton Chiles (and former governor) to the lowlifes such as Jeb Bush who ushered in the gun toting evangelicals. Rep. E. Jean Carroll’s defamation trial against former President Trump was postponed Monday after a juror and one of Trump’s lawyers reported feeling ill.

U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan, who oversees the trial, announced in the courtroom he would postpone the trial for at least one day.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis alleged in a court filing that the wife of her special prosecutor in the Georgia election interference case against former President Donald Trump is attempting to interfere in the case.

Willis wrote in the filing Thursday that Joycelyn Wade had "conspired" with Trump defendant Mike Roman, to get his charges dismissed by alleging Willis was engaged in an improper romantic relationship with her estranged husband, Nathan Wade, and that they illegally enriched themselves by naming him as a special prosecutor.

Fresh off his contentious court appearance Wednesday, former President Donald Trump had some harsh words for Judge Lewis Kaplan, whom he called “a nasty man.”

Trump was not required to be in court for Wednesday’s proceedings in E. Jean Carroll defamation’s case against him, but he said he will attend “all days.” Last year, a jury found the former president liable for sexually assaulting Carroll in the mid-1990s. She is currently suing Trump for defamation (again) after Trump repeatedly claimed she lied about the assault.

FSU For The Win.

Florida State’s claim states: “The stunning exclusion of the ACC’s undefeated football champion from the 2023-2024 College Football Playoff in deference to two one-loss teams from two competing Power Four conferences crystalized the years of failures by the ACC to fulfill its most fundamental commitments to FLORIDA STATE and its members.”

Florida State leaders believe the ACC locked its members into an undervalued and unusually lengthy contract with ESPN that leaves the Seminoles’ athletic programs at a massive disadvantage against schools in the Big Ten and Southeastern Conference, which have TV deals that pay more over a shorter period of time.

I am so old, I remember listening to the 1967 football game between Alabama and FSU. Everyone feared it would be a blowout. The final score was 37-37.  FSU put on an aerial show and great ground game, never seen by Bama or the Bear. "What the hell is going on out there?" - Coach Bear Bryant

FSU further ruffled the SEC feathers in that 1967 season by beating all 3 SEC teams they played AND they went to the Gator Bowl and tied Penn State.

FSU's hometown sports writer for the Tallahassee Democrat, Bill McGrotha, wrote this: “Always remember that when the Blue Bloods of college football worked to keep FSU shut out, FSU did not merely stand outside, knocking patiently. They kicked down the door, marched inside, took an empty seat at the table, and casually put their feet upon it."

And in 2023, CFP, ESPN and the ACC stabbed  13-0, FSU in the back for 12-1 Bama.

Interesting sidenote: Bama players are flocking to FSU through the transfer portal. Karma can be a bitch.
