A Morning In My Life

Around 8am I received a call from my daughter who was down at the community center wanting to know if I wanted a free medical checkup. She said they were gringo medics. Free, yeah, sure.

After about 45 minutes of questions and exams, I was given a thumbs up and prescribed vitamin C with a joint supplement. The meds were free.

One of the medics proudly told me she was a Jersey girl. On my way out I said to her, "Say hi to Bruce Springsteen for me!" She smiled widely. She knew.
