This is Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1960. My Dad refurbished an old wooden 36 ft. Chris Craft nearby in 1958. He taught me everything about water safety, boat maintenance and fishing. Soon after he was offered a job as assistant manager at the port. I was lucky enough to tour dozens of military vessels at that time and a few submarines. Hence my love of the water, especially turquoise water. We are a product of our environment, after all.
