Iran Replies To Republican's Letter

Republican senators' letter to Iran about ongoing nuclear talks has prompted a lengthy response from Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who delivered an overview of international law as he critiqued the letter.

Zarif said he was astonished by the letter, saying it suggests the U.S. lawmakers "not only do not understand international law" — a subject in which he is a professor — "but are not fully cognizant of the nuances of their own Constitution when it comes to presidential powers in the conduct of foreign policy,"

It is amazing how stupid the Republicans are. Some call it stupid, some call it treason.

The NEW Saudi King
Under its new monarch, Saudi Arabia appears to be moving to improve relations with Turkey and Qatar and soften its stance against the Muslim Brotherhood with the aim of weakening Iran. The shift could lead to pressure on its ally Egypt to reconcile with them as well.

Fox News Victimizes White People On "Bloody Sunday"
Coming out of the 50th anniversary of the “Bloody Sunday” march in Alabama, The Daily Show‘s Jon Stewart had one question about the coverage.
“Could Fox take this commemoration of courageous civil rights marchers and somehow turn it into white conservative victimization?” he asked.

Sabotaging Obama
Republican senators want to give Iranian leaders — and the president — a refresher on the constitutional balance of power.
In a highly unusual move, a group of 47 Republicans in the upper chamber has written to Iran’s top leaders to let them know that any nuclear deal they reach with the United States would be “nothing more than an executive agreement.”
