The EAC, a bipartisan agency established in 2002, helps state and local officials conduct elections and distribute grant money. The firings leave the commission without any members as the midterm elections approach.

In interviews with CNN, multiple Epstein victims, including four women who spoke on record and two who shared their accounts anonymously, took issue with various aspects of Groff’s recent testimony to lawmakers.
