Wife and I watched a lot of the Jack Smith testimony today. Do you remember an old Stephen Colbert bit where he would say, "Do you think Trump is a great president or the greatest president? I'll put you down for greatest president." That's how the republicans treated Smith. They would ask him a loaded question and before he could get his answer out, they'd cut him off by stating the answer they wanted to hear from him and then moving on to a new loaded question. Every one of them lied profusely about things we actually saw on TV. It was insane.

Also, one republican blamed the capitol police for the J6 insurrection after having risked their lives to protect them. There were several of them in the audience. They were visibly and justifiably upset by the accusation.
Finally, Jasmine Crockett was fabulous as usual.
