Update: The bad news is a new charger is on order from San Jose and is expected early next week. Of course, my Acer laptop has a tiny charger connector that none of the universal chargers fit.
Sigh.
SO, the good news is I am going to buy a new laptop today! I will need it changed to the English language. though.
