Sometime around 1960, my dad took us kids to the first Burger King to open in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We all had Whoppers, of course! It was awesome. I'd never seen anything like it before in my life. To my young uncultured eyes, the Whopper was Yuge! Colossal! Magnificent! It looked just like you're deflate photo. Ah, to be so thoroughly and easily impressed with fast food.
ReplyDeleteIt's not fast food, it's a legend!
Delete😬 Am I allowed half credit for always ordering a Whopper Jr. with cheese? I can't finish a real Whopper!
ReplyDeleteCleora... no.
ReplyDeleteYou get full credit.
I, on the other hand, eat BK regularly. It's NEVER been as full as the "Beauty Shot" in the Deflate photo.
RandomTroll
The first Whopper i had was in the early 1970's. It seemed huge even to my 20-some-year-old appetite. The last time we went to BK because of a coupon some six or seven years ago it was a disappointment, and I eat less now.
