CNN’s Scott Jennings has reportedly sent clips of himself defending President Donald Trump’s close aide, Natalie Harp, to the White House in a bid to become the next Press Secretary.

Jennings went scorched earth on Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) after Ossoff’s mention of Harp at a campaign rally Sunday went viral and sent the political landscape into a frenzy.

Palm Beach County Clerk of Court and Comptroller Michael Caruso was arrested on charges related to child sexual abuse, according to the Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier.

Uthmeier made the announcement in a post on X on Tuesday morning.

"Early this morning, with substantial assistance from [Florida Department of Law Enforcement] and local law enforcement, Palm Beach County Clerk of Court Michael Caruso was arrested on charges related to child sexual abuse," he wrote. "The investigation is ongoing, and we will provide more information to the public at the appropriate time."
