Taco is ill

 My sweet 2.87 kilo chihuahua suffered a minor but painful injury. The vet repaired him (may need surgery later if he doesn't heal). The vet suggested that I get him spayed today so he gets all that pain in one fell swoop. The spaying went very well, only one incision needed. So, I pick him up in a couple of hours.

Taco will need my full attention, so I need to take a couple of days off to tend to my little one.

More than 20 workers at Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have opted to resign rather than “dismantle critical public services,” the Associated Press reported Tuesday.

“We swore to serve the American people and uphold our oath to the Constitution across presidential administrations,” the 21 workers wrote in a joint resignation letter. “However, it has become clear that we can no longer honor those commitments.”

Hegseth: “I’m gonna choose to reject your unqualified question.”
