Trump Admin to Remaining USAID Staff: Start Shredding Docs

U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) employees and outside groups are fighting an order from the agency’s leadership to shred and burn its classified documents as well as personnel records.

An email obtained by The Hill sent by USAID’s acting executive secretary instructs remaining employees at the dismantled agencies to “shred as many documents as possible first, and reserve the burn bags for when the shredder becomes unavailable or needs a break.”

Gee, I wonder what they are trying to hide.

USAID staff apparently spent yesterday shredding classified documents, which appears to violate federal recordkeeping laws. We sent a letter to the National Archives and State Department IG calling on them to act to ensure USAID complies with the law.- Citizens For Ethics

Tesla delivered five of its vehicles to the White House and parked them on a driveway for Trump to personally inspect, hours after he said on Truth Social that he planned to buy a Tesla to demonstrate his support for Musk and for the slumping company.
