Texas Messed With Paxton

The Republican-led Texas House of Representatives voted Saturday 121-23 in favor of the resolution to impeach Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, and to send the matter to the Senate for trial.

The overwhelming decision by the Republican-controlled body to impeach the Republican Attorney General will have major consequences for the GOP in the state. The rift between the two sides has spread to national figures, with Sen. Ted Cruz, ex-president Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., and other MAGA names weighing in to defend Paxton, typically attacking House Speaker Dade Phelan as part of that defense.

My son arrived yesterday for a week's visit and I could not be more thrilled. Even though the temperature here is about a thousand degrees, there is always the cool water of the Pacific to prevent one from dying from heat stroke.

Discovery CEO David Zaslav told the MoffettNathanson Technology, Media and Telecom Conference in New York on Thursday that CNN needs “to show both sides of every issue” in order to rebrand from a “left-leaning” network...Amanpour offered a concrete example of when telling both sides of a story is not always warranted in her view, arguing that journalists roundly report Ukraine “is the victim of a Russian imperialist illegal aggression” and do not give equal weight to the Russian view of the war.

So, if bothsidesism is CNN's new norm, when do we watch interviews with mass murderers, insurrectionists and pedophiles...oh wait, CNN already interviewed Trump.
