Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) took aim at Florida Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) during an interview and confirmed that President Joe Biden’s declaration that some GOP leaders want to end Social Security and Medicare was, in fact, accurate – despite loud booing and yells of “liar” from GOP members.

I never would have known that Rick Scott, Ron Johnson, Mike Lee, and Ron DeSantis all called for the end of Social Security and Medicare if the Dumdum Caucus hadn't brought it to my attention by making a spectacle of themselves during the SOTU.

President Joe Biden will travel to Florida on Thursday, taking his post-State of the Union roadshow directly to the epicenter of the Republican Party.

Florida is not only home to the two top contenders for the Republican nomination to challenge Biden in 2024, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump, but also Republican Sen. Rick Scott, who the president has tried to cast as the leading opponent to Medicare and Social Security.

Hump Day

My other skills are needed at my property today. It has been months since I have surveyed the place. Plus, my friend needs more paint to finish the cabinas. No offers on my property yet, so I will continue to improve it (all cosmetic) until it does sell. I actually enjoy hanging drapes and fluffing pillows.

Biden was great last night delivering his state of the union address. He may be 80 but he is quick on the draw. Of course, the Republicans whined like toddlers, most of which denounce January 6. I am so disappointed in Merrick Garland letting these lawbreakers, from Trump to the GOP clowns, serve in congress and not serve in a Federal penitentiary. Other countries arrest traitors, pronto.
